Grand opening @ Claymills Victorian pumping station!

To celebrate me having moved in for 3 weeks! : ) and the fact it was a steam in day so the public were invited to par take in our wonderful world.
To celebrate this fact I put on a grand display of my work and did demonstrations throughtout the day. Front of house at the forge ws my great friend Jayne who helpoed me give the greatest experience to the visitors. And we had loads of fun!
Thank you to all who came down!
Unfortunatly the boiler didnt pass the safety test and so we couldnt have steam, which made me very busy! and the workshop was always full!
I got to meet some great  people and I feel like I have settled in well : )
Very much looking forward to the future!

My new home!!

Iv moved! in to a Victorian pumping station at Burton upon Trent!!!! : )
It is possibly the best place EVER! in my humble opinion, Fred would be proud!
I am also the luckiest person ever to be allowed to work here! At this amazing heritage site.
It boasts two beam engines and over 20 other steam engines!
The Blacksmith workshop is full of machinery that is all powered by the Victorian boiler! Including a steam power hammer!! : )
I am very much looking forward to learning more bout the site and the great volunteers who work there!
