The N.E.C Interiors show
Today I had an inspirational day in the N.E.C I had great fun looking at the good and bad things on offer.
The items available were certainly a lot different to what I can offer.
There was a worrying lack of support for local businesses or pieces that were out of the ordinary. Or sustainability.
This was worrying for the future, but hopefully I will be able to change this for the better.
The grand opening of The Mug Tug
I went to a delightful event this morning, The grand opening of the new venture The mug tug!
This is a brilliant idea were you can relax and enjoy some artistic therapy. You can paint all manner of pottery items whilst on a Canal boat!!! the scenery is positively beautiful and relaxing.
I shall defiantly be back again with my friends for some fun!

Claymills Pumping station, Burton
This weekend I had a wonderful trip out to Claymills. This old Victorian pumping station was buzzing with life!
There were all manner of steam driven machines, a woodworker and a Blacksmith! It was absolutely amazing to think of how these machines worked and the people who made it happen. More impressive were the people that as still making it happen today!
It warmed my heart at how magical this place was and how enthusiastic and passionate the volunteers were.
Long may this continue, I shall continue to show my support :-)
Defiantly worth a visit!
